The point of validation in exploring a franchise opportunity is not to make or break your decision. It is so frustrating to me when candidates let franchisees set up a limiting belief about what’s possible, and they decide not to invest in a business based on that.

Most people are not big thinkers, and they don’t know how to focus and work a business plan, thus they poke along until they figure it out and get serious or quit and walk away. The business had the potential all along. It was the owner who did not capitalize on that potential.

It is unfortunate when candidates base their investment decision on what others have done, or more importantly, have not done with the opportunity in front of them.
