Am I the only one in franchising who feels it’s near criminal what 14 states do to enable franchisors to do business in their states?
When states like CA, NY, MD, VA, WA and others take several months of the year to approve an FDD and literally stop business from happening in their states, I want to scream WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Can anyone make a justifiable argument for this over regulation that literally steals dreams from their tax payers?
If I lived in one of those states, I would never vote for anyone who didn’t support small business. But I may not know all the facts. Please enlighten me!
