Is there ever a good time to say YES! to your dreams to own a franchise business? It would be terrific if when you said YES! there were no world wars, the economy was thriving, no talk of another global virus, and the outlook for America was strong and prosperous.

Is owning a business harder than working for someone else? Honestly, I don’t know the answer to that because I haven’t worked for anyone but myself in 25 years, and I am only 49 years old. But, I have employed myself successfully for over two decades, and this is what I know.
The beginning is exciting, the ending can be too (or sad…depending), but it is the middle that counts. When you first say YES! to the dream of business ownership, you will be so empowered and excited and feel ready to take on the world, but fast forward 9, 18, 24 months.
Elvis Presley once said, “When things go wrong, don’t go with them.” That may be easier said than done when your life savings is invested in a franchise, and it just is not working out, but it is great advice nonetheless!
